Ministry

Men’s Ministry

Men are challenged to leadership at home and accountability with other men through small group Bible studies and prayer groups, leadership breakfasts, and fellowship and outreach events. One on one mentoring is offered connected mature believers to younger Christians aiding growth in their spiritual life.

 

Women’s Ministry

Ladies are invited to participate in small group Bible studies and classes that meet throughout the year. Retreats, fellowships, activities, and mentoring relationships are all great tools to encourage the ladies of Brookdale in continued growth. Glorifying God through the challenges of life in transparent biblical relationships characterize the heart of the women’s ministry at Brookdale.

 

Couples

Families grow strong through marriage classes and couples studies that meet throughout the week. Couples are encouraged to take up biblical parenting through extensive parenting classes that are offered each year. Sunday Bible studies allow couples to spend time together in small groups hearing God’s word taught and applied to everyday life.

 

Teens

Young people are invited to weekly youth meetings and Sunday school classes where biblical truth is presented in challenging ways. The focus of the Brookdale youth ministry is helping families disciple godly children, by the grace of God that will impact their world for Jesus Christ. Youth are challenged by godly mentors in personal relationships to love God passionately and serve others using their gifts, talents, and interests.

 

Children

Children are highly valued at Brookdale. The nurseries are staffed by caring workers in a secure safe environment. The Awana ministry encourages children to regularly memorize God’s Word and invited friends to hear the gospel of Christ. Sunday school classes are led by trained teachers who love children and assist families in systematic teaching of God’s Word in an age appropriate way. A summer children’s choir allows young people to learn to sing and joyfully serve the Lord.

 

College

Brookdale Campus Ministry is impacting all three local campuses through Higher Ground Bible studies and College and Career Sunday School class.  The mission of the college ministry is to "proclaim God’s Word effectively as we strive to impact college age people for Christ."

 

Seniors

Brookdale has a growing group of seniors, The Young at Heart, that meet monthly for fellowship, activities, and trips. They are actively involved in church ministry and are counted to continue to mentor and influence the next generation.
