Ministries

The ministries at Brookdale are designed to help each person participate in the Great Commission of making disciples through the Gospel of Christ both at home and around the world.

Outreach

Brookdale also partners with missionaries that enable Brookdale to take the Gospel to the entire world. We strategically support missionaries that share a similar ministry philosophy that enables us to fulfill the call of God of making disciples around the globe. Annual Missions Conference, short-term mission trips, special missions projects, and adopt Missionary programs help make the call to the global Great Commission personal for each member.

Adult

Over twenty thousand college student call Fargo-Moorhead home. Brookdale is committed to providing a family where students can grow up into Christ and be equipped for life and ministry. Student memberships, on campus Bible studies, Sunday Studies, and weekly meals after the service give students a home away from home.
Adults are invited to participate in a Sunday study that emphasizes the authority of God’s Word, together with encouragement and challenge of real fellowship and relationships. Studies include inter-generational Bible fellowships, studies for young marrieds, and college/career.
Strong families are essential for a strong church. Brookdale is a church where Biblical teaching on marriage and parenting is present throughout the preaching and teaching ministry. Ample opportunities exist for more specific conversation in small group studies.
The ladies ministry provides an opportunity for women of all ages and backgrounds to grow, serve and encourage one another in the Gospel of Christ. Ladies are invited to connect with other ladies offering biblical mentoring, support and encouragement in the context of relationships. Weekly studies through a book of the Bible or a pertinent book study centered around scripture are great ways to grow deeper in Christ in small group Bible studies.
Retreats provide a get away for a couple of days provides a great opportunity for reflection, prayer, fellowship, and great teaching from God’s Word
Ladies are invited to connect with other ladies offering biblical support and encouragement in the context of relationships.
We believe that the Bible teaches that God designed us to grow in community. Men of all ages are encouraged to sharpen one another in Christ through the Word of God, in mentoring relationships,small group Bible studies, The Huddle, outreach activities and retreats. Men are equipped and encouraged to be godly husbands, fathers, employees through the Word of grace in relationship with Jesus Christ.

Seniors

The Young @ Heart ministry provides opportunity for seniors to enjoy fellowship and ministry with one another through activities, trips, and meals shared together.

College

Youth

The Brookdale youth ministry values disicipleship and equipping of the entire family. Teens are taught to study and apply the Scriptures personally. Each Wednesday night teens are encouraged to grow through Bible Study. There are many ministry opportunities including nursery, music, and Children’s church. Parents are provided opportunity for biblical training in being a faithful parent. The focus of the ministry is to turn the hearts of each member of the family toward one another and toward Jesus Christ.

Children

Each Wednesday during the school year, children are invited to participate in a ministry dedicated to evangelism and discipleship.
Children through grade three are invited during the morning message to a service designed for young children to understand the scriptures.
The clean safe nursery is staffed by volunteers who have undergone background checks and meet for annual training. We are committed to providing a safe loving place for children while their parents participate in worship and discipleship ministries of the church.
Whether it is a sports camp, Bible school, or a week away at Bible camp, children are given opportunities to learn about Jesus Christ and share the Gospel with others even during the summer months.
